I struggled with math myself as a teenager. It was frustrating and I lost confidence in my own ability to tackle math problems. It was only when I returned to college a couple of years later and was fortunate enough to have a great professor, that I found my passion for the subject. Unfortunately, we hear about teachers being unable to properly teach math to their students all too often.
After graduating Rutgers Summa Cum Laude, I started working in one of the popular math tutoring franchises. Though I still believe in their methods for long term understanding, I also saw recurring issues that kept many parents and students at bay. A-ha Tutoring Services is my approach to math education, which is built upon my experiences teaching all around the globe and my strong conviction that everyone can succeed in math.
With A-ha Tutoring Services, I want to fill in some of the gaps in math tutoring. As math education becomes more technology driven in classrooms, I want to support students with that transition. I also want to teach my students HOW to study math, and give them the confidence to tackle any problem inside and outside of the classroom.
